We have 4 Covens within The Covens of the Sacred Spirit. Three are based in Manchester UK and one is based in Chester UK. We meet in person for our regular gatherings and welcome members from across the North West and beyond who are able to travel to our meetings.
We meet once each month for structured learning, spiritual development and fellowship. In addition to our monthly learning sessions, we also gather to celebrate each of the eight Sabbats that make up the Turning of the Wheel, marking the changing seasons through ritual and celebration. Attendance at gatherings is an important part of coven life, helping to build strong relationships, shared experiences and a supportive magical community.
Our regular coven gatherings are private and are open only to accepted coven members.
We believe that trust, mutual respect and a safe learning environment are essential to the work we do together. For this reason, we do not operate open circles or allow visitors to attend regular meetings.

All official coven getherings are conducted fully clothed. We recognise that some traditions include skyclad practice, and members are, of course, free to explore their own personal practice privately if it aligns with their beliefs. However, this does not form part of our coven tradition or our group work.
No. The Covens of the Sacred Spirit are Eclectic Witchcraft tradition rather than a Wiccan one.
Our members come from many different magical and spiritual paths, and we welcome respectful practitioners from a wide range of traditions and pantheons. While we are not Wiccan covens, we greatly respect Wiccan teachings and uphold values such as the Wiccan Rede and the principle of personal responsibility reflected in the Threefold Law. Our teaching draws upon many magical traditions while encouraging members to develop their own authentic spiritual path.
